  • Make any station your station Press "Make this my station" on a board and the home page opens on it next time, no account needed.
  • Back to today from any past day An old board, train or unit page now links straight to what is happening there today.

24th September 2026

  • Alerts for the trains and units you follow An email when a train you follow is cancelled or running 15 minutes late, and a morning email of where the units you follow are working. Press Follow on a unit's page; turn alerts off on your profile.
  • Delay Repay on trains you follow A train you follow shows how late it reached your stop and links to the operator's own Delay Repay page.
  • Charters and specials Every railtour, charter and special stock move of the day, with the stock working it. In the Fleet menu.
  • Station messages on the boards Today's boards show the disruption messages National Rail is displaying for that station.
  • Stansted Express has its own page How it is running, the next trains each way from Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport, and the units out today.
  • Credits for the live data Every page now credits National Rail, Rail Delivery Group and OpenTrainTimes, and the About page says what each feed supplies.
  • Tidier station names Abbreviations from the timetable are written out: Queenstown Road (Battersea), London King's Cross, Liverpool South Parkway (Low Level), Paddington (Elizabeth line).
  • Heathrow Express shows its trains The twelve Class 387s that run the service now appear under Heathrow Express, which is listed with the passenger operators again.
  • How is your operator running? Each operator page opens with a one-line answer from the last hour and the day so far.
  • A page for every unit A unit's own page shows today and every day it worked in the last fortnight, and still works on a day it is resting.
  • Class pages introduce themselves Who built the class and when, how many are in traffic, who runs them, and a table of the subclasses.
  • Every station, A to Z Browse every station by its first letter, and each board now links to the stations either side of it.
  • Better link previews A link shared in a chat or a forum now shows that page's own card: the station, the train, the class or the operator.
  • Daily punctuality on Bluesky Yesterday on the railway, posted every morning at 08:00. Follow us on Bluesky and X from the links at the foot of every page.

  • Trains cancelled part of the way Trains, boards, unit diagrams and the punctuality figures now show when a train was cancelled for only part of its journey, where, and why.

22nd September 2026

  • Pick a date on any board Click the date on a station board to open a calendar and see any day.
  • Open rows in a new tab Cmd-click, Ctrl-click or middle-click anywhere on a row to open it in a new tab.
  • Each day's figure on the punctuality chart An operator's fortnight now prints each day's on-time figure, coloured by how good it was.
  • Search by train ID Type a train's ID, such as W70818, into the search box to go straight to it.
